Support is available from a wide range of trusted providers, including The Royal British Legion, SSAFA, and specialist NHS services such as NHS Op COURAGE, all of which offer dedicated support tailored to the unique experiences of those who have served. Apply for a Veterans ID Card

Apply for a Veterans Badge
The HM Armed Forces Veterans Badge is awarded to former members of the UK Armed Forces as a mark of recognition for their service. Wearing the badge is a visible way to demonstrate your veteran status and helps promote public awareness of the contribution made by those who have served. If you have not previously received one, you can apply online through the UK Government website.

NHS Support for Veterans

A Veterans ID Card provides an easy way for former members of the UK Armed Forces to verify their veteran status. The card can help you access veteran-specific support, services, and discounts where available. If you have left the Armed Forces and are eligible, you can apply online through the UK Government website.

The NHS provides a range of healthcare services specifically designed to support veterans and their families. These include priority treatment for service-related conditions (subject to clinical need), dedicated mental health services, and specialist support for those transitioning to civilian life. If you are a veteran, let your GP know that you have served so they can ensure you receive the support and services available to you.
